Ein einzigartiger Mix aus Kriminalgeschichte und Fantasy-Roman.
Dieses Buch ist wirklich etwas Besonderes. Der einzigartige Mix aus verschiedenen Bücherwelten Mythologie und Kriminalgeschichte hat mich sofort in den Bann gezogen. Sehr angenehm fand ich, dass man nicht mit bekannten Literaturgrößen konfrontiert wird, sondern der Fokus eher auf den Nebencharakteren liegt.
Malou hat mir von Anfang an sehr gut gefallen, ihre Entwicklung immer mehr zu hinterfragen ist sehr gut dargestellt.
Romantisch wird es ebenfalls, die aufkeimenden Gefühle konnte ich toll nachempfinden. Auch unter den Nebencharakteren knistert es gewaltig. Vielleicht fast schon etwas zu viel, für meinen Geschmack - trotzdem schön.
Die Geschichte selbst entwickelt sich anderes als ich zuerst erwartet habe - es gab überraschende Wendungen und ich würde gekonnt in die Irre geführt - ohne das Gefühl zu haben, dass mir bewusst Informationen vorenthalten wurden. Im letzten Drittel konnte ich das Buch nicht mehr zur Seite legen und musste es bis spät in die Nacht zu Ende lesen. Zum Glück ist die Geschichte abgeschlossen und man bleibt ohne Cliffhanger zurück.
Doch man muss sich nicht endgültig aus dem Litersum verabschieden, ein zweiter Band „Musenfluch“ mit neuen Hauptcharakteren ist bereits erschienen und ein dritter Band „Musenherz“ ist angekündigt.
