This should be the first book to read before starting the Lord of the Rings

The Hobbit is one of the best fantasy books which exist, it is brilliant written.

This book is about Bilbo Baggins, a hobbit from the Shire.

Who then has been asked by Gandalf, an itinerant wizard, to help the dwarves on the quest to regain their heir, the dwarvish kingdom under the Lonely Mountain.

During this travel Bilbo find the ring and also meets Gollum.

This book is worth to be reading because it is so brilliant written, also the around 340 pages are read in one breath.
