Durchaus spannend und unterhaltsam

Ja, ich mag Fantasy, insbesondere, wenn es gelingt, die reale Welt mit der magischen zu mischen. Das ist hier durchaus gelungen, wobei der Nutzen der Magie im "echten" Leben nur an wenigen Stellen aufblitzte. Dafür bleibt man als Leser lange so uninformiert wie die Protagonisten - Esther, die jährlich umzieht, und Joana, die Haus und Bücher ihres verstorbenen Vaters hütet. Dazu noch eine magisch versteckte, große Bibliothek in England, in der die magischen Bücher gehortet werden - und sogar...
